What to Do at HOKKAIDO SUMMER CAMP 2026
Japanese Language Course
Study a 4-week short-term Japanese language course at Hokkaido Japanese Language Academy.
Located in the heart of Sapporo, the Academy focuses on practical Japanese learning—both in the classroom and through real-world interactions with locals. Classes are taught by native Japanese instructors, and students will take a placement test to ensure they are matched with the right level.
Class Days: Monday – Friday
Class Hours: 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM (except on activity days)



Cultural Immersion & Hands-On Experiences
Participate in various activities such as:
- Craft a traditional Japanese wind chime
- Learn the art of the Japanese Tea Ceremony
- Experience making traditional Japanese sweets (Nerikiri)
- Create your own music box in Otaru
- Make sushi using fresh ingredients from Hokkaido
- Try handmade soba noodle making at Sapporo Satoland
- Learn about disaster preparedness and safety awareness

Accommodation
- Lestel Maru: A dormitory located near the school, just a 10-minute walk away.
- Rooms accommodate 4–10 people and include complete amenities (private bathroom, refrigerator, microwave, kettle, hair dryer) along with shared facilities (coin-operated washer and dryer).

Application Requirements
- Must be at least 15 years old (If the applicant does not meet the age requirement, please consult with our staff).
- Japanese language skills are not required.
- Must be in good physical and mental health, and able to take care of oneself.
- Must be willing to learn, adapt to new environments, and participate in group activities.
- Must be able to follow the rules and attend classes and activities throughout the 4-week program.
Documents Required:
- Applicant’s picture.
- Copy of your passport.
- Deposit payment slip.
- Rules and Regulation.
Application Process
- Request the application.
- Submit your application documents.
- Pay a deposit of 40,000 THB on the day of application. (Deposit is non-refundable unless the program is canceled by the company.)
- Pay the remaining balance by April 30, 2026.
