Aoba-Japan International School (A-JIS) was founded in 1976 and has been an IB World School since 2016. Alongside its three campuses in Tokyo, A-JIS’s pioneering online extension, Aoba Global Campus (AGC), brings the same high quality IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) that it delivers on campus, to students located throughout the Asia-Pacific, 100% online. Online IBDP classes are live-taught by IB-certified teachers through inquiry-based learning methods, with integrated online learning technology to facilitate student interaction. Within the two-year program, students have the opportunity to visit Japan for a cultural immersion experience and connect in-person with their online classmates.
